Clothing post puberty

Also post retirement, on weekends, relaxing. I’m struggling because for work I’d dress up a bit, not crazy and not more than other women. But for work I’d wear nice slacks, a skirt or a dress and now it’s all jeans, corduroy, capris. I wear skirts in hot weather or even light dresses because they’re cool.

I haven’t gotten down to the point of wearing activewear and sweats. I’ll probably get there. I also still wear shoes almost all the time. Makeup is limited to lipstick and usually that is omitted as well.

If I do have an event of any kind to go to I’ll dress up. I still like to dress up. It just isn’t my daily routine. Today is a compromise with a pullover, cords, and shoes. I’m wearing my wig and not a bandana, but I’m having lunch with an old friend and may stop in at work.
