Venus at midnight

I see your limbs akimbo
Like staggered moonlit beams
Your face lit in the starlight there
It brings such thoughts to me
The moving shadows branches shake
Add to the scene

You pose upon bended knee
Arch your back with ease
Comfort your young lover there
As she cries fitfully
Soon her sobs turn into sighs
As she turns to thee

The starlite glances on them here
And sometimes on them there
Moving slowly in that dance
No music there to hear
No rhythm there to keep
But magic is it theirs?
